Audi comprehensively redesigned the A4 for 2009. The new A4 is sleeker and wider on the outside and larger on the inside. A 6.3-inch-longer wheelbase increases rear-seat legroom by nearly an inch, but the reality seems greater as the rear seat is now adult-worthy.
Excellent handling because of Quattro, Audi Drive Select, and a new rear differential marks the 2009 Audi A4 3.2. The Bang & Olufsen audio system produces excellent sound, and the Audi Music Interface works well with iPods. The blind-spot warning system is a very useful driver aid.

First of all, the car looks absolutely badass; sporty - with its slightly lowered suspension, nineteen-inch wheels, and wider wheel arches - but still subtle. The seats, upholstered in fine, "silk nappa" leather with contrasting piping, are deeply sculpted and very comfortable.

It had to happen sooner or later…. After more than two years at the top of my “I’d buy it money no object” list – my beloved Mazda RX8 has been unceremoniously shoved aside. "There’s nothing quite like a large, premium-brand coupe to flaunt your wealth; all that sheetmetal, size, and power, but real seats for only two. It’s no wonder, then, that in such a sybaritic segment, the attention on a new arrival focuses on the most flamboyant member of the family."
